About My Role:
My role as a paralegal involves supporting our attorneys in first-party property insurance claims for homeowners and business owners in disputes over their property damages. From the initial client intake and file setup through the settlement process I maintain consistent communication with the clients, adjusters, experts and opposing counsel. I coordinate property inspections, mediations, and depositions as well as phone conferences for the attorneys. I help maintain the calendar to keep track of any important deadlines or upcoming events. I draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery responses and other correspondence. Additionally, I help sort and scan all mail, keep case files organized and complete, and help with the final settlement documents and closing of a file.  

What I Enjoy Most:
The rewarding and fulfilling feeling from helping clients who may feel powerless or at a loss when dealing with the unfair practices from their own insurance carrier. Additionally, working for two amazing and humble attorneys marks for an amazing work environment.

Outside of Work: 
I like to travel, hike, hout out with friends, spend time with the family, hang out with my dog, Chuy, attend music events, and play some BINGO!
