Insurance Claim Disputes

We Can Help

Delay, Deny, and Defend

The Insurance Industry Standard

When you pay your premiums timely, your claim should be paid properly. That means in a timely manner and in an amount sufficient to cover the reasonable cost of necessary repairs. Unfortunately, our experience shows us that is not always the case. Scroll down to read more about how we may be able to help you with your insurance claim dispute.

Time Matters--And You Deserve a Prompt Claim Decision

Let Us Handle Your Claim While You Handle Your Business

Your insurance policy and the Texas Insurance Code have specific deadlines regarding an insurance claim. For example, an insurance company must begin investigating an insurance claim within fifteen days of receiving the claim, notify you whether a claim is accepted within fifteen business days, and pay a covered claim within five business days of notifying you the claim is covered. An insurance company that fails to meet those deadlines can be subject to penalties and attorney fees, in addition to the amount that should have been paid to the policyholder. Successfully resolving a disputed insurance claim, however, may require a first-party insurance attorney who knows the law in Texas and has the experience to help guide you to a successful resolution. That is where we come in. Learn more about our services below.

Denied Does Not Mean Defeated

Under Deductible, Wear and Tear, Deterioration--We Have Heard It All

And there are many more reasons an insurance company may use to try and avoid paying for covered damage. But if a claim is covered, it should be properly paid. To be clear, wear and tear or deterioration are both valid reasons an insurance company may not be required to pay for property damage-so long as those reasons are supported by the facts. All too often, however, we have seen insurance companies use these excuses to justify unreasonable claim decisions. But that has never deterred us from holding them to their promise to pay for covered damage. If you think your insurance company failed to properly pay your claim, reach out to us to discuss your options or scroll down to read more about our legal services.
